How to Make Wi-Fi Calls from Your iPhone
Step-by-Step Guide
Wi-Fi calling allows you to make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi network instead of your cellular connection. This can be useful in areas with poor cellular reception or when you want to save on your cellular data usage.
Instructions
- Open the Settings app. You can find the Settings app on your iPhone's Home Screen or in the App Library.
- Tap Phone.
- Tap Wi-Fi Calling.
- You may need to enter or confirm your address for emergency services.
- Turn on Wi-Fi Calling.
Note:
If you don't see a Wi-Fi Calling option, your iPhone likely doesn't support it.
Additional Information
Wi-Fi calling is available on all iPhone models that support iOS 8 or later. You must also have a Wi-Fi connection that is stable and strong enough to support voice calls.
